A few years ago, a small team of young people frustrated by the problem of access to relevant financial services launched a savings app for South Africa. That app was the first step toward Akiba building out a bigger offering to transform how anyone can access any financial product using alternative data.
Today, we' re building an alternative credit scoring infrastructure that connects credit providers to small businesses and other thin filed consumer easier.
We work with banks, micro-lenders, alternative lenders, fintechs and SMEs make the world of financing easier for all
